The Herne Hill Forum has secured funding to hold a series of free seminars that inform and inspire individuals in the Herne Hill area who are interested in retrofitting where they live or work with energy-saving innovations to reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy costs.
What is Retrofitting?
Retrofitting is the addition of new technology or features to older buildings. Most of us in Herne Hill live or work in buildings that were not built to be energy efficient. By adding new technologies such as door seals, double glazing, loft insulation, solar panels etc. we can reduce our energy consumption and be warmer.
