How do I apply to trade at Herne Hill market?
Herne Hill Forum no longer run the Herne Hill market and the current market operator is City & Country Farmers’ Markets, also known as CCFM. The Herne Hill Forum only operate the community tent. If you are a local community group, charity or other not-for-profit local group and would like to book a slot at the community tent, please email us: info@hernehillforum.org.uk. For any commercial stall rentals, please contact CCFM.
How does my community group get to have a slot at the Community Tent?
If you are a local community group and have something to say, you can apply to have a slot at the weekly Community Tent at the Sunday market. You will need to have people at the stall for either a morning shift from 10:30 – 1pm or an afternoon shift from 1pm – 4pm. Once your booking has been confirmed we ask that you do not cancel and that you find enough volunteers or staff to be there for the whole session. We will provide you with a gazebo, table and some chairs but you will need to bring any printed materials or banners. If you wish to collect money, sell anything or have an activity, you will need to ask us in advance as this is not always possible. Please email us to book a slot: info@hernehillforum.org.uk.

What’s the difference between www.hernehill.org.uk and www.hernehillforum.org.uk?
The Herne Hill Forum have run a community noticeboard website at hernehill.org.uk for many years and it has served the community well with thousands of visitors using it to post recommendations of traders, lost pet alerts, business listings and local events. It has recently been relaunced in a more streamline form, with a social media aggregator collating local news and an events calendar.
Alongside this, the Forum want to publish information on how it is run, its procedures, projects and documents relating to its governance. The old community noticeboard website was not a suitable platform for effectively delivering this information. Therefore this website hernehillforum.org.uk has been created with the aim of being transparent about the Herne Hill Forum and to encourage community engagement and new members.
