All the more reason to keep the pressure on for through trains to St Pancras.

They then turn left to rejoin the scheduled route towards Waterloo Station.
The 468 terminates at the Tabernacle (one stop short of schedule).
In the opposite direction buses stop (southbound) at the stop close to the underground station (prior to the main roundabout and close to the university) but DON'T stop alongside the shopping centre.

Passengers using the 176 will find a mass of roadworks at Tottenham Court Road (these are scheduled to continue for a long time), and many diversions.
Other contracts are due for renewal in the months ahead, the most important by far being the number 3 bus. This column will report on changes, variations in frequencies and so on

This will mean that routes 201, 3, 196, 322, N3 and 690 will all travel along Dulwich Road in both directions, and turn southbound buses will turn right into Norwood Road, which will have a three-lane width at that point. Passengers will board these buses at roughly the same place as the southbound 37 stop. Cars and bicycles will also be able to turn right into Norwood Road.
The northbound slip road from Norwood Road into Dulwich Road has been re-sited, and will also open shortly. It will accommodate all forms of traffic.
=================================
In order to access HH Station from Dulwich Road it will be necessary to turn right into Hurst Street and then right again into Railton Road. To return to Dulwich Road traffic will use Rymer Street which has been reversed to southbound.Double-decker buses will no longer use Rymer Street except for urgent operational requirments.
Please be aware that, in the event of unavoidable operational problems, the above could all be delayed

It is not certain whether the major gas works are completely finished, or will resume.

The route is a dense one, has been pushed from pillar to post in Brixton during the Brixton Square works and during the gas leak problems, and is a vital Brixton - Dulwich - Lewisham connection. It has several bottlenecks (most recently southbound at Dulwich Common) and it is very annoying that no improvement will be made to the service.
Lobbying efforts will nonetheless continue

The buses are white single-deckers (although I suppose occasionally other colours will feature) and numbered 545. They are reasonably frequent.
This is of great assistance to all those living in the area or alighting from Loughborough Junction station. Meanwhile the 35, N35, 45 and 345 routes continue to run on diversion along Denmark Hill to Herne Hill and beyond. The buses do stop when hailed.

The areas next in line for consultation would be "South Herne Hill" (Kestrel, Rollscourt etc) and Herne Hill Lower North (Poplar Walk, Fawnbrake etc).
Bidalet was able to establish that, were the existing zone "N" extended, any new streets in the extended zone would be part of a larger zone "N", and not a new zone.
More in May.........

Some of the political parties are cranking up the "ante" by leafletting passengers at stations, soliciting their views on whether service has improved since the stream of bad publicity earlier in January.
Let's hope a much better service emerges as a result

Herne Hill Forum asks all users of the station to push for increased manning by whatever channels available
