Hello, I'm Helen Warner, a local wedding photographer based in Herne Hill.

WHY AM I A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

Because I am passionate about what I do. I am married and our wedding day was very special for my husband and I. Celebrating your love surrounded by all the people you love and who love you … it doesn’t get any better.

Every wedding is different because every wedding regardless of size or venue is about the people. That’s what I love to capture: the experience, the joy, the love, all the little (and big) moments, all the things you didn’t notice or get to see – the story of your day. I will treat your wedding with all the care and respect as if it were my own because I know how special it is for you. Obviously I won’t confuse myself with the bride!

MY STYLE

So how do I do this? I love working in natural light, without flash, to give the truest and most beautiful representation of your day without you or your guests even noticing I’m there. It allows me to capture the day as it naturally unfolds; the best moments are always unstaged. I work alone, without second shooters and include low-pressure portrait and group photographs if requested.

I will give you photographs and memories true to your day, that you’ll want to look back on years from now, beautifully produced and captured with thought.
