Neighbourhood watch now covers 14% of homes across Lambeth, and in December they meet at the YMCA Hall in Stockwell with Karen Hunn the Watch Manager from the Metropolitan Police, Lambeth.

This is a short report on the meeting.

The police across Lambeth are changing their shift patterns to ensure they’re available when needed, this means more resources in the evening and at weekends to better suit the pattern of demand.

The council have various campaigns, eg establishing no cold calling zones, and ‘Big Difference’

All residents encouraged to pick up a low cost UV marker and mark property with their postcode and door number. Also to register items with a serial number on the free www.immobilise.com which police use to return items to their owner.
