This class introduces beginners to the basics of making your own clothes using a shop bought pattern. You need to be able to thread a machine and sew (reasonably!) straight but rusty is fine.

You will learn how to:

• Take body measurements
• Understand and choose patterns
• Choose fabrics and about the different types available
  
• Basic construction techniques
• cut, mark and press and use tools and notions

Whilst you make your own simple top or dress of choice!
