The Herne Hill Forum has been campaigining to get improvements to the junction in Herne Hill. These improvements include better traffic flow and benefits for pedestrians and cyclists.

Fed up with cars or lorries parked on the pavement? Blocking access for anyone with a buggy, impaired sight or in a wheelchair?
Living Streets have been campaigning against this inconsiderate blight (next to the station springs to mind). A simple and polite solution is to carefully place a leaflet on the windscreen asking for the driver to think before blocking the pavement. Download the sample leaflet here.
Southwark are working with the local traders to introduce improvements to the Norwood Road area and have managed to secure a grant of £600K for environmental improvements.
Some improvements have already been made. Southwark planted the new trees and the local Traders have planted the tree pit with flowers.
