The Dulwich Ukulele Club are pleased to announce the final line up for their May Ball, which is being held at the ST Thomas More Hall, 116a Lordship Land, 8-12pm Sat 7th May. There will be Morris Dancers and May Poles and the Lord and Lady of Misrules. Tickets are £10, and available only from the Dulwich Festival website 

We are trying to feature as many female musicians and artists as we can on the night and we've got: 

The Jolenes - all lady blue grass 
New Esperance - all lady Morris Dancers from South London 
The Actionettes - all girls 60's dance troupe 
No Cars - female power trio from Japan 

Location

Shuffle and Stomp – a new South London Linedance Club – will be meeting at Saint Thomas More Hall, 116a Lordship Lane, in East Dulwich on Wednesday evenings, starting 23 February 2011. The Hall has a large purpose-built hardwood dance floor and stage.

Linedancing is for all ages, we dance to to all types of music (not just Country). Beginners are warmly welcomed, experienced dancers too – and we always like to see Linedance returners.

In the future we plan to hold club nights, to attend and hold special events, but for now it’s class time – 7.30–10.30pm. Entry is just £5 for the whole evening with special attention for absolute beginners between 7.30 and 8.30pm. Come early, bring plenty of water, make a night of it!. A dance partner is not required – but please do bring a friend!
