Be a model for a day!

National charity Living Streets is looking for real people and families who live in or near Herne Hill to take part in a charity photo shoot next Tuesday afternoon. Anyone and any age welcomed.

Volunteers will receive a free portrait/family group photo taken on the day as well as a goody bag to thank them for taking part. It's expected that volunteers will be required for half an hour or so.

The photos will be used to promote Living Streets' community activity in the area but will also be used on national materials and websites to promote walking more generally. If you're interested in taking part please email info@livingstreets.org.uk for more details. 

A sometimes forgotten gem in Herne Hill, Wish has a new range of prints and postcards of Herne Hill available.

WISH gift shop, corner of railton Road and Dulwich Road, Herne Hill, was established in 1996. They have loads of unusual gifts and furniture and a new range of panoramic postcards and prints of great places in London which of course include Herne Hill. 

The products come from all over the place and there is attention paid to getting them produced in an ethically and environmentally friendly way. They also make some things themselves and source from local artists.
